Founded SWEA Design as a freelance venture and kicking off from my studies in 2005, and over the years, it has evolved into my full-time business. I provide a wide range of creative services, including branding, print and digital design, websites, social media content, and more.

Overseeing global marketing efforts for Safe Seal Wrap, a next-generation shrink wrap solution for construction and industrial projects. Initially brought on to create visual materials and infographics to explain Safe Seal’s advanced technology to distributors and international teams. The role quickly expanded to include managing social media content for Facebook and LinkedIn, developing brand messaging, and launching the new global Safe Seal website. Working closely with the team to drive brand awareness, support sales, and position Safe Seal as a global leader in the market.

Freelance role supporting Wild Apricot Events with design and marketing expertise. I was responsible for creating the brand identity and developing a custom website to effectively represent the company’s vision. Additionally, I design visual materials, digital assets, and marketing content to promote events, enhance brand awareness, and drive engagement. Working closely with the team, I help elevate their online presence and ensure their events stand out in a competitive market.

Freelance role supporting HPCE with design and marketing needs. Work includes creating visual materials, digital assets, and marketing content to promote events and conferences, helping to strengthen brand presence and engagement.

Providing freelance design support for Tuskany, a creative agency based in Tauranga. Work includes a range of projects across branding, digital, and print design, supporting their clients with fresh, strategic visual solutions that align with their marketing goals.

Creation of brand, website and marketing materials, working closely with the team to enhance brand visibility and support business growth in the Tauranga region. Delivered creative solutions to strengthen the company’s positioning in a competitive market.

Marketing Manager role for a collection of companies incredibly diverse and dynamic role. In this small import business where I was the sole member of the marketing team, I took on a wide array of responsibilities, consistently driving innovation and crafting consumer experiences. Devising strategies and implementing marketing plans across various brands. Internal materials, presentations, POS designs, website management, brand development, NPDs, ambassador and influencer collaborations, brand partnerships, advertising, promotions, campaign management, SEO optimization, Google and Social Ads, blog creation, EDMs, Social Media management, creative direction and photoshoots.

Worked with BRÖÖ, an American shampoo and conditioner brand made from beer, to launch their presence in New Zealand. Created and managed a website and online shop, and developed marketing materials aimed at both end customers (B2C) and retailers (B2B). Supported the brand’s growth in the NZ market through ongoing digital and print design work.

Co-owned and launched the New Zealand brand WashBar into the Nordic market, building the business from the ground up. Developed and managed a website with an integrated online shop. Created marketing materials for both retailers (B2B) and end customers (B2C), and established a social media strategy to grow brand awareness. Oversaw all aspects of the import business and brand positioning across the region.

Led the creative direction for campaigns and brand communication at CDON.COM, the largest online retailer in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Responsible for creating visuals for all major campaigns, as well as managing internal and external communications. Oversaw and developed a creative team, working in a fast-paced, high-turnover eCommerce environment where adaptability and quick decision-making were key.

Worked on a six-month contract covering a maternity leave, delivering both digital and print design projects. Handled work for a range of clients including Nordsjö Idé och Design, IF Metall, DHB, Lidhults, Specialteknik, Barsebäcks Hamnkrog, and Marknadsföreningen i Malmö.

Owned and operated The Sale Fairy, an online marketing platform promoting sales for baby, kids, and maternity products. Successfully doubled the company’s income, web traffic, and subscriber base during my ownership. Oversaw all aspects of branding, including logo and identity design, print materials, digital campaigns, and packaging.

Worked across a wide range of design projects including logos, brand identities, packaging, brochures, profile materials, websites, mobile sites/apps, SEO, newsletters, e-commerce, and social media. Managed both my own client projects and contributed to larger, collaborative projects.

Handled multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, balancing long-term strategic work with shorter, quick-turnaround jobs. Worked closely with web developers to ensure designs met technical specifications. Projects typically involved client relationship management, concept development, design execution, and final delivery – always aiming for strong results and happy clients.

Completed a five-month internship, developing the brand identity for the IT company Presis. Designed a range of print materials including folders, books, and a memory game as part of their marketing collateral during my final year of university.
