Some projects carry a bit of extra meaning, and this one definitely did. Toner Law, a well-established Tauranga firm, reached out for a digital refresh — their old website had served its time but wasn’t quite reflecting the warm, approachable nature of the team behind the name.
With Mike Toner gradually passing the reins to his daughter Emily, it marked a real generational shift for the firm — the perfect moment to create something new that still honoured their roots.
Bringing the Brand to Life Online
Working from their updated branding, the goal was to create a clean, modern site that felt professional but still down-to-earth — just like the Toner Law team themselves. The layout is simple and intuitive, letting visitors easily find what they need without the typical stiffness of traditional law firm sites.
Custom icons were designed for each of their services, helping to make the information clear and approachable, while subtle use of colour and space keeps everything feeling calm and trustworthy. It’s a small detail, but those little touches really shape how people experience a brand online.
