Working with Little Genie has been a true passion project for me. Their values and products align perfectly with my own — natural, gentle, and made right here in Aotearoa. When the opportunity came up to help develop and design their New Zealand-made Baby Care Range, I knew it would be something special.
From Concept to Creation
The project began in collaboration with The Soap Factory, where we developed three beautiful soap bars from the ground up. I helped select the key ingredients, define the look and feel, and ensure each product reflected Little Genie’s commitment to quality and care.
Designing the Packaging
Once the formulas were set, the next step was to design packaging that felt as natural and honest as the products inside. The goal was to create a compostable packaging solution that communicated purity and simplicity through design.
The final result features soft watercolour illustrations paired with key colours that represent each soap’s ingredients — a visual story of gentle, nature-inspired care.
Bringing It All Together
Every detail of this range was considered — from the ingredients to the textures, colours, and overall presentation. It’s a product line that feels authentic to Little Genie’s brand and beautifully represents what they stand for: natural care for little ones, made with love in New Zealand.
