Through HPCE Aotearoa, SWEA Design got approached by Rotary Papamoa to create a website for their “Footprints for Our Future” week — a region-wide initiative dedicated to environmental awareness and action across the Bay of Plenty. This week brings together schools, community groups, and passionate individuals to protect and celebrate the environment we love.
The week features everything from awa restoration projects to talks by inspiring speakers — all aimed at encouraging the community to engage and take action. It’s about making a tangible difference while inspiring the next generation to care for the spaces we love.
For this project, I created a not-for-profit website on Rocketspark to provide all the information participants and supporters need in one accessible, easy-to-navigate place. The site highlights key events, schedules, and ways for the community to get involved. The goal was to make the website clear, engaging, and a hub for all things environmental action in the Bay of Plenty.
It’s always rewarding to support initiatives that bring people together for a good cause. Rotary Papamoa’s work in the community is inspiring, and I’m proud to have helped give their campaign a digital platform to match their impact.
